The CDC, FDA, and state health officials have not linked the outbreak to any specific food, farm, grower, or supplier. Michigan health officials have pointed to salads as a possible connection, but have said their investigation is ongoing and other foods have not been ruled out.
Our produce supplier has not been connected to it
Our supplier has told us they are not aware of any information linking the current outbreak to their supply chain.
Food safety standards remain in place
Their approved growers are required to maintain audited food safety programs covering agricultural water management, worker hygiene, sanitation, and traceability, with routine third-party audits.
