Paisano’s With a Purpose

Paisano’s With a Purpose believes that access to nutritious, delicious meals is a fundamental human right. Our mission is to bring high-quality food to underserved communities, charitable organizations, and community partners — one meal at a time. We strive to alleviate food insecurity and hunger by providing hot meals and fostering meaningful community connections.

We achieve this through partnering with local food banks, shelters, and school programs by raising funds and by donating food. We collaborate with non-profits and promote food drives and/or donation matching campaigns. Our food truck donates meals at scheduled times in our market’s underserved communities. We use our platform and brand to raise awareness about food insecurity.

How It Began

Launched in Summer 2025, Paisano’s With a Purpose began with a simple goal: to serve meals to children in Title I schools during the summer months. Many of these children rely on school lunches throughout the academic year and face hunger when school is out.

To help bridge that gap, we took our Paisano’s Food Truck into local schools, neighborhoods, and parks, offering free meals to any child or family in need. This summer alone, we visited 20+ different schools and communities, feeding children and families across the DMV.

What started as a small act of service quickly turned into a company-wide movement. Today, our food truck remains committed to serving all who are in need, continuing to bring warmth, connection, and nourishment wherever it goes.

Why We Do It

For over 25 years, Paisano’s has been built on the support and loyalty of our community. Paisano’s With a Purpose is our way of giving back to the people who built this company and have supported us from day one. We realized that many people — including our own employees — want to help but don’t always know how.

This initiative gives our team, customers, and partners a hands-on way to make a difference in the communities that have supported Paisano’s for more than two decades. It’s our way of saying thank you to the neighborhoods that shaped us by feeding the people who make them home.

Military Food Markets

Partnering with Veterans Success Resource Group, Hope for the Warriors, USO, and other veteran support organizations, Paisano’s helped serve our nation’s heroes through a series of Military Food Markets. Over the course of these events, Paisano’s served more than 16,000 hot meals to military families and distributed $50,000 in grocery gift cards on-site.

The Military Food Markets were held on November 1, 8, and 15, 2025, with each event focused on feeding, supporting, and honoring service members and their families.

Our Goals

Through Paisano’s With a Purpose, more than 50,000 meals are served annually to individuals and families in need. The program continues to grow its impact through ongoing partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, military groups, law enforcement, and food banks.
Paisano’s is also expanding its efforts into more underserved neighborhoods across the region, ensuring that support reaches the communities that need it most. At the same time, the initiative is focused on empowering more employees and community members to join the mission and make a meaningful difference.
